Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of the Praymory mobile application (the “App”). By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. On iOS, use is also subject to Apple’s terms (including Apple’s Standard EULA). On Android, distribution and payments follow Google Play policies.

2. Features

• Audio prayers (a free selection is available).
• Religious library (free selection of books).
• Interactive events calendar of religious dates; add your own dates (e.g., birthdays).
• Soul Reset — a self‑reflection and affirmation tool.
• Light of Faith — on‑screen prayer subtitles; you may read aloud or silently; optional background music; no voice recording.
• Soulmates — add a loved one and pray for them.
• Praymory Tree — build a private list/graph of loved ones; one‑tap to pray.
• Spiritual Letter Service — write a message/affirmation to or about a loved one.
• Best Flight — one‑minute prayer playback before flights (symbolic).
• Auto Prayers — automatic prayers and notifications you enable.
• Voice of Faith — AI‑assisted chat on religious/spiritual topics (optional voice dictation).

The App does not provide public feeds, forums, or user‑to‑user messaging. Sharing occurs via the system share sheet under your control.

3. Nature of service & neutrality

The App is a digital tool for personal prayer, reflection, and spiritual support within the tradition you select. It is not a religious rite/sacrament, fatwa, rabbinic ruling, pastoral/canonical counsel, or an official service of worship. The App is not affiliated with, and does not act on behalf of, any religious organization and operates neutrally with respect to all traditions.

Supported traditions (at publication): Catholic Christianity, Orthodox Christianity, Protestantism, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints (LDS), Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Jainism, the Bahá’í Faith, Shinto, Zoroastrianism, Yoruba religion, Confucianism, the Armenian Apostolic Church, and the Anglican tradition (including the Church of England).

4. Artificial intelligence & accuracy

The App uses AI to generate answers, prompts, audio and texts. AI materials may contain inaccuracies, be incomplete or outdated, or differ from positions of religious institutions. They are for reflection and support only and are not official theological conclusions, fatwas, halachic rulings (psak), pastoral or canonical decisions, or spiritual directives. We do not warrant theological/canonical correctness and disclaim liability for actions taken in reliance on AI materials.

5. Account, age & authentication

Sign in with Apple, Google, or e‑mail is available. When you choose a third‑party sign‑in, the provider shares limited info (typically name and e‑mail; with Apple you may hide your e‑mail).

The App is not intended for persons under 13. If you live in a country where a higher age is required to use online services without parental consent (for example, in most EEA countries and the UK), you may use the App only once you meet that higher age or have verifiable consent from your legal representative. We do not knowingly collect personal data of persons who have not reached the applicable age.

6. Intellectual property & license

All elements of the App (texts, design, logos, audio and other materials) are owned by Praymory LLC or used lawfully. We grant you a limited, personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose. Copying, modifying, reverse engineering, or commercial use of materials without prior written consent is prohibited.

7. User content (non‑public) & sharing

You may enter notes, prayers, “letters”, names of Soulmates and other materials (“User Content”). You retain your rights and grant us a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to store, process, and display this content in the App solely to provide the features (including backup, encryption, re‑encoding and similar processing). You warrant you have all rights and that your content does not violate law, third‑party rights, public morals, or religious feelings. Sharing outside the App uses the OS share sheet; third‑party apps you choose apply their own terms.

8. Prohibited conduct

• Insults, hate speech, threats, or hostility based on religion/ethnicity/race/gender.
• Presenting AI‑generated materials as official religious decisions.
• Infringing intellectual property rights.
• Interfering with the App or circumventing technical protections.
• Using the App for commercial/missionary campaigns without our consent.

9. Feature‑specific notices

All actions in the App are symbolic, educational and supportive, and are not rites/sacraments/services/fatwas/rabbinic decisions/official pastoral advice.

9.1 Selection among 17 traditions

Selection serves personalization only. It does not indicate membership and does not replace communal worship. The App is not affiliated with listed religions and does not issue official religious documents or recommendations.

9.2 Soulmates — prayers for loved ones

A digital reminder and symbolic act; no guarantee of spiritual or worldly results; not equivalent to liturgical commemorations or similar practices.

9.3 Voice of Faith — AI answers

Generated by AI based on religious texts; may contain errors or contextual inaccuracies; not a fatwa, halachic ruling, tafsir, theological or pastoral conclusion; does not replace consultation with clergy/scholars/mentors.

9.4 Soul Reset — personal cleansing

A self‑reflection tool; not a confession/sacrament/ritual and not psychological or medical care.

9.5 Spiritual Letter Service — letter to heaven

Personal affirmations/remembrance; does not transmit messages to the deceased and does not replace memorial rites.

9.6 Automatic prayers

Notifications/reminders; not performance of real rites and carry no canonical force.

9.7 Light of Faith — virtual light

Purely symbolic; does not replace lighting candles/lamps in places of worship; we do not record your voice in this feature.

9.8 Audio prayers & books

Audio and book materials are provided for inspiration and study; they are not an official service of worship or canonical pronouncement; translations/transliterations may vary.

9.9 Medical and psychological disclaimer

The App — including but not limited to Soul Reset, Spiritual Letter Service, Auto Prayers, Voice of Faith and other self‑reflection tools — is not a means of medical or psychiatric diagnosis or treatment, psychotherapy, or any professional medical or psychological service and does not replace consultation with qualified healthcare professionals.

10. Prices & purchases

Auto‑renewing subscriptions and one‑time purchases may be offered. Final local prices are shown by the store. Subscriptions auto‑renew until cancelled in store settings; refunds follow store rules. Unused entitlements do not roll over.

11. Third parties & links

The App may contain links to third‑party resources (including app stores, sign‑in providers, analytics and cloud services). We are not responsible for their content or practices.

12. Warranties & limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, compatibility, fitness for your expectations, or results of spiritual practices. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for indirect/incidental/punitive damages, loss of data or profits, and any actions you take in reliance on AI materials. Nothing herein limits liability which cannot be limited by law. In the EEA and the UK, this limitation applies only to the extent permitted under applicable consumer law.

13. Permissions & notifications

• Microphone (optional): for voice dictation in the AI chat; you can always type instead.
• Notifications: for reminders and service messages (e.g., feature updates, account notices); promotional messages only with a separate opt‑in. You can turn notifications off in OS settings.

We do not request access to device Contacts or Calendar; Loved Ones and events are entered manually.

14. Global use & local laws

We make no representation that the App is appropriate or available in every jurisdiction. You are responsible for complying with local laws. We may geo‑block or restrict access where use would violate laws, sanctions or our policies.

15. Governing law & jurisdiction; non‑application of CISG

These Terms are governed by the law of Sharjah Media City Free Zone, UAE. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of the Emirate of Sharjah, UAE, unless mandatory consumer rules require otherwise. The U.N. Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) and conflict‑of‑law rules requiring application of foreign law do not apply.

If you are a consumer residing in a country of the European Economic Area or in the United Kingdom, nothing in these Terms deprives you of consumer protection rights granted to you by the mandatory laws of your country that cannot be changed by contract. In the event of a conflict, such mandatory laws prevail.

16. Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, acts of authorities or telecom providers, major internet/hosting outages, cyberattacks (including DDoS), DNS/routing failures, power outages, or failures of third‑party platforms or app stores.
